Maya Gaedtke and Adam Schmidt are the High School Athletes of the Week.
Maya is on the JV girls basketball team and her coach is Bruce Brown.
Maya has been having a great year so far on the court. She has shown great leadership and always has a positive attitude. She shows leadership to the younger girls by her all out hustle on the court and her actions off of the court. Maya also excels in the classroom, balancing sports and schoolwork.
Adam is on the boys varsity hockey team and his coach is Matt Borneman.
Adam was involved with all our scoring over the past week. 1 goal against NDA and 1 goal and 1 assist against Verona. When Adam puts forth 100% effort he is a stand out player, which he has been doing for the past few weeks!
