Antigo Athletes of the Week: 2/5/18

Royce Bauer and Payton Bunnell are the Antigo High School Athletes of the Week.

Royce is on the JV wrestling team and his coach is Ben Olsen.

Royce is consistently one of the hardest workers in practice. He comes to practice looking to get better each and every day. He takes what he learns in practice and applies it on the mat. Royce’s hard work has paid off as he recently placed 4th at JV State.

Payton is on the girls varsity hockey team and her coach is Kevin Sandstrom.

Payton is a senior for the Northern Edge girls hockey team. She has been one of the top points leaders on her team all four years of her high school career. She currently leads the team in points (goals and assists) and has the third most in the conference. She has been the Captain for the Northern Edge for the last two seasons, bringing strong leadership skills and a good work ethic to the table each and every day. She is the heartbeat of her team on the ice, and a excellent role model off of the ice and in the classroom.
