Antigo High School Students Advance to State Solo and Ensemble Festival

Antigo High School would like to recognize and congratulate our outstanding Band and Choir students who have qualified for the Wisconsin State Solo and Ensemble Festival this Saturday at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.

Under the direction of Choir Instructor Connor Darrow and Band Director Isaac Smith, these students have dedicated countless hours to preparing challenging musical performances for adjudication. To qualify for State, students were required to earn a coveted “Starred First” rating at the district level — an achievement reserved for performances of the highest quality.

Each of these students spent months refining their musical selections and demonstrating tremendous commitment, discipline, and professionalism throughout the preparation process. Their performances were evaluated across multiple musical categories, and each student earned one of the highest honors possible at the district festival.

Qualifying for the State Solo and Ensemble Festival is an outstanding accomplishment and reflects the dedication, preparation, and musical excellence of these students and directors.

Antigo High School would also like to recognize and thank Connor Darrow and Isaac Smith for their continued leadership, instruction, and commitment to providing exceptional musical opportunities for students.
