Deputies initiated the morning with several traffic stops, issuing verbal warnings for expired registration and for an ATV operating on a state road. A citizen was advised to contact the DMV to sort out some confusion regarding a vehicle plate renewal. Later, another traffic stop resulted in a verbal warning for speeding. Deputies also responded to multiple road blockages; one caused by a dump truck losing a load of woodchips, and another due to large rocks falling from a truck with an unlatched gate. The farm owner was contacted and arranged for a clean-up of the rocks. A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was also reported. In the evening, a refrigerator was found lying in a lane of traffic; a deputy moved the pieces off the road and notified the highway department. The day concluded with a traffic stop that resulted in a citation for operating while license is suspended or revoked.

A traffic stop for driving left of the center line led to a field sobriety test, which concluded with the driver receiving a verbal warning. Deputies also responded to a report of a farm truck spraying corn silage all over a US highway, but found that while there was debris on the shoulders, it did not pose a hazard. A more unusual call involved a report of a man in a mask and coveralls walking around with a knife; however, he was not seen threatening anyone, and deputies were unable to locate the individual.
