ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS

Wednesday, March 25^th

Officers responded to a call from a female on Lincoln Street reporting that someone had broken into her storage unit in the basement and stolen a television and some other items. The female told officers that she would get them a complete list of the missing items and their approximate value.

Officers responded to a call from a male subject on Graham Avenue reporting that sometime before 9:0 PM on 3/24 the upstairs window on the east side of his home had been shot with a BB gun three times. He told officers that he had been able to find 2 of the 3 BBs.

Officers responded to a report of two trucks engaged in road rage, cutting each other off. Officers referred the subjects for disorderly conduct and they received citations for reckless driving.

Officers responded to a call from a male on 4^th Avenue reporting fraudulent transactions on his bank account. He told officers that his wife had been online a few days earlier, on an unsecured site. She received a message from Amazon asking for updated financial information. Now they noticed that a deduction had been made from her account for several hundred dollars for a diamond purchased with a credit card using the caller’s wife’s name. The caller told officers that they had contacted the bank already.

Thursday, March 26^th

Officers responded to a report of a theft at an address on Neva Road.

Officers responded to a report of an accident at an address on Clermont Street.

Officers responded to a report of a retail theft at an address on Hwy. 64.

Friday, March 27^th

Officers responded to a report of a theft at an address on Lincoln Street. A commercial vacuum cleaner had been taken, black and yellow in color, valued at $300.00.

Monday, March 30th

Officers responded to a call from a male on Fulton Street reporting damage to his five day old truck. The caller told officers that the rear driver’s side door had been keyed. He said that there was no damage to the truck at 10:00 AM that morning.

Officers responded to a call from an area business on Neva Road reporting a suspicious person. Officers conducted a field sobriety test. The male subject was taken into custody and transported for a blood draw. The male was referred for operating while intoxicated, 1^st offense and felony bail jumping.

LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT

Thursday, March 26^th

Officers responded to a report of an accident at Cty. Rd. A and Pence Lake Road. No one was at the scene. Officers noted that it looked like someone’s head had hit the windshield on the passenger side. The vehicle was towed and held. Officers later spoke with the female driver. She received some citations and the vehicle was released.

Officers responded to a call from a male on Brockman Lane reporting the theft of a table saw from his garage. He told officers that the garage is usually locked, but he noticed yesterday that the big garage door was open and the table saw was missing. No other items were missing. He told officers that it would have probably taken two people to get the saw out as it was heavy.

Monday, March 30^th

Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. D.

Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at Hwy. 64 and Neva Road. There were no injuries. One vehicle was towed.

Officers responded to a call from an area business on Hwy. 45 in Summit Lake reporting a gas drive off for $44.80. The caller told officers that they tried to catch the driver but were unable to. The vehicle was described as an early 2000’s Chevy that was gray or possibly tan in color. It was a single cab with some rust. It had two tires strapped in the rear and the tailgate was down. The driver was described as a 20 year old male wearing a hoodie and a hat. The male subject left going north towards Elcho. The caller told officers that she did have the vehicle on their security camera.

Tuesday, March 31st

Officers responded to a fire call on Hwy. 64. A small fire was ignited by a cutting torch. The frame of an old mobile home was being cut when the sparks ignited some insulation. The fire was contained to a small area under the trailer by the Fire Department.
