September 17th
The day began with a traffic stop on Willard Ave and Clermont St at 1:17 a.m., where a driver was given a verbal warning for a defective taillight. At 1:36 a.m., an officer assisted a citizen at Kwik Trip on State Rd 64. Minutes later, at 1:39 a.m., an open door was discovered at the northwest corner of a back door on a building, but after a thorough check, the building was found to be secure and everything was in order. A 911 hang-up call was received at 2:30 a.m., followed by routine patrols. More traffic stops were conducted at 4:43 a.m. and 4:58 a.m. at the intersection of 5th Ave and Superior St, with a verbal warning given for an equipment violation at the first stop and a written warning for speeding at the second. Another traffic stop occurred at 4:47 a.m. on 2nd Ave and Superior St, resulting in a written warning for a defective headlight and an expired registration. A funeral or school event was assisted at 7:03 a.m. on Graham Ave and Superior St. At 12:48 p.m., a 911 hang-up call from Kwik Trip on State Rd 64 was investigated, but officers found everything to be fine. Later in the afternoon, a motorist was locked out of their car at Walmart on State Rd 64, and an officer assisted in the parking lot near the gardening section. A traffic stop at 4:53 p.m. resulted in a subject being taken into custody and a citation for operating without a valid license, a verbal warning for not wearing a seatbelt, and a citation for no insurance. The evening concluded with two separate harassment complaints at 6:08 p.m. and 7:13 p.m.. A disorderly conduct report was filed at 7:07 p.m.. September 18th
The early morning hours began with a traffic stop on US 45 and Rusch Rd at 2:12 a.m. resulting in a written warning for a defective taillight. At 5:54 a.m., another traffic stop was conducted on S Superior St and Hickory St, where a driver was cited. A 911 hang-up call from 5th Ave at 7:28 a.m. was determined to be accidental, with officers hearing a leaf blower in the background. At 9:36 a.m., a gas drive-off was reported on Superior St, but the male suspect later returned and paid. A disorderly conduct incident was reported on Century Ave at 11:23 a.m.. Later, a citizen assistance call was placed from the Langlade County Safety Building at 11:28 a.m. regarding an alarm that had been going off for weeks. A traffic stop at 10:54 p.m. on Superior St and Irving St resulted in a verbal warning for non-registration and no proof of insurance. A traffic stop at 11:09 p.m. on Neva Rd and Mendlik Ave was conducted on a black GMC Denali. A final traffic stop at 11:16 p.m. on 5th Ave and Western Ave led to a vehicle search and a subject being taken into custody.
September 20th
At 12:10 a.m., suspicious activity was reported on Freiburger Ave where a vehicle was found unlocked with the keys in the ignition and the dome lights on. The vehicle's owner was contacted and stated that a friend was borrowing it. At 2:24 a.m., suspicious activity on Superior St was reported, with officers finding an uncooperative male who refused a ride home. A follow-up investigation was conducted on 5th Ave at 2:30 a.m.. Another report of suspicious activity was made at 2:52 a.m. on 9th Ave and Lincoln St, where a subject was seen running. Later in the morning, an officer assisted a citizen at Aspirus Langlade Hospital on E 5th Ave at 4:17 a.m.. At 6:30 a.m., an officer provided security for the annual Alzheimer's Walk at Antigo Middle School on 7th Ave. A follow-up investigation was conducted at 10:13 a.m. on 6th Ave. At 2:23 p.m., a civil complaint was reported on 6th Ave by a person who wanted to speak to an officer. A 911 hang-up from Antigo Middle School on 7th Ave at 2:54 p.m. was determined to be from children playing basketball. A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 5:00 p.m.. A lost wallet was found and returned to its owner after being dropped off at the Langlade County Safety Building on Clermont St at 5:25 p.m.. September 21st
The day began with a traffic stop at 12:07 a.m. on 5th Ave and Clermont St, which resulted in a verbal warning. At 12:22 a.m., officers were called for a suspicious activity report at Castle Park on Field St, where they advised people on park hours and they moved along. At 12:39 a.m., an open door was found at Heartbreakers on Forrest Rd. The business was cleared, and a vehicle with an unlocked door was secured. Officers located an occupied vehicle at 2:34 a.m. on 3rd Ave and Virginia St and advised the occupants that the park was closed. At 2:40 a.m., officers were called for suspicious activity at Tap House on Edison St, where patrons were advised to walk home. A business check was conducted at Rainbow Laundry at 2:45 a.m., where officers provided assistance to a person staying there. At 9:03 a.m., a welfare check was requested. A found cat was dropped off at the Langlade County Safety Building on Clermont St at 10:55 a.m. and then taken to HAWS. An assist citizen call was received at 11:37 a.m. from an individual who needed help with transportation to catch a bus. A 911 hang-up was investigated at 11:48 a.m..
