At 1:53 AM, officers responded to an open door with lights on at a property on Steinfest Rd; the building was cleared, found to be "10-2" (okay), and secured. Morning traffic took a hit at 5:54 AM at Superior St & 10th Ave when a driver reported being cut off by a garbage truck, forcing them to hit a curb; the impact busted the front wheel off the vehicle, requiring a tow.
Mid-morning saw a theft report on State Rd 64 involving stolen money, followed by a dispute on Weed St regarding a cell phone, which officers determined was a civil issue rather than a theft. At 11:17 AM, officers assisted with a funeral procession traveling south on Superior St from 5th Ave.
The afternoon included a frantic call at 2:23 PM from a witness on Superior St who felt a building shake; it turned out a vehicle had struck the building, though fortunately, there were no injuries. Later in the day, officers handled a complaint on Dorr St involving an 18-year-old touching and moving items in a house, and at 4:49 PM, a report came in regarding children riding motorized bikes on 1st Ave near McMillan.

Just a few hours later, at 2:45 PM, another accident occurred at Neva Rd & Mendlik Ave where a person pulling out of a business was struck; one individual suffered a bleeding finger but declined EMS, and a citation was issued for operating without insurance.
The evening became disorderly around 8:00 PM when a business owner reported a subject pounding on their window. Later that night, at 8:45 PM, officers performed a traffic stop at 926 S Superior St for a vehicle with no taillights. Traffic enforcement continued late into the night with stops at 7th Ave & Superior St (defective headlight) and 535 Superior St (tinted license plate cover) between 11:00 PM and midnight.
Officers were active early Thursday with traffic stops shortly after midnight at US 45 & Industrial Park Rd and 7th Ave & Deleglise St, where a verbal warning (VW) was issued for a missing front license plate. At 7:00 AM, a caller at 738 Superior St reported an old animal left in an impound lot behind a shop.
In the afternoon, officers responded to a lost property report at Kwik Trip on 455 State Rd 64, where a debit card was missing. At 3:15 PM, a traffic complaint regarding speeding at State Rd 64 & Shadey Rd resulted in a citation for OWL (Operating Without License). A disturbing DNR matter was reported at 11:17 AM on Winter Rd, where a skinned deer carcass was found in a ditch with the head and legs removed. Tensions flared at 1:03 PM on Spring Rd, where a caller reported men in multiple trucks pointing a rifle at him and using profanity. The weekend concluded with harassment complaints regarding family disputes and threatening messages on County Rd F and State Rd 47.
