ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Wednesday, October 2nd
Officers received a call from a female reporting that her windshield was shattered on both sides and it has a hole in it. She told officers that she believed it occurred while she was at an address on Clermont Street the night before. She gave officers the name of a potential male suspect.
Officers stopped a vehicle at Mendlik Avenue and Saratoga Street. Officers conducted a field sobriety test. The driver was taken into custody. They were also cited for speeding and not carrying a license on their person.
A male came to the Safety Building to report someone wrote on his door and that his tv, Xbox, shoes and a vape had been stolen from his residence on 6th Avenue.
Thursday, October 3rd
Officer responded to a report of a tree blocking Hazel Road off of Western Avenue. Officers left a message for the town chairman.
Friday, October 4th
Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that his work truck was struck while at an area business on Lincoln Street. The caller told officers that the vehicle struck the back corner of his trailer, leaving a scrap and a dent. Officers were given the license plate number of the striking vehicle.
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that her purse had been stolen from her locked vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of an area business on Edison Street. There were no signs of forced entry.
Officers responded to a 911 call from a male reporting a 2 vehicle accident at Century Avenue and Western Road. There were no injuries. Property damage only.
Saturday, October 5th
Officers came upon a vehicle with a driver slumped over the wheel on Clermont Street. The vehicle then began moving and proceeded southbound on Clermont Street.
A male came to the Safety Building to request law enforcement to respond to a location on Edison Street because a group of 15 plus people had taken his glasses and broken them. They had also spilled their drinks on him.
Sunday, October 6th
Officers were out with an intoxicated male subject at 5th Avenue and Edison Street who needed a ride down to Old 26 Road. The male was eventually able to get someone to give him a ride.
Officers received a call from a female on Clermont Street reporting that someone filled the exhaust pipes of her boyfriend’s vehicle with spray foam insulation. The caller gave officers the name of a possible suspect.
Officers responded to a call from an area business on S. Superior Street reporting a gas drive-off of $30.13 The caller told officers that both parties in the vehicle came into the business and purchased a soda, but said no when they were asked if they had gotten gas. The vehicle was described as a Chevy Traverse. Officers were given the license plate number of the vehicle.
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that she struck a vehicle that was parked in her driveway on Deresch Street. Property damage only.
Officers stopped a vehicle at 8th Avenue and Clermont Street. Officers detected the smell of marijuana. A search was conducted. A subject was arrested for possession of an electric weapon, possession of a marijuana e-cigarette and synthetic urine.
Monday, October 7th
Officers stopped a vehicle at Arctic Street and 2nd Avenue. A field sobriety test was conducted. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st offense. They were transported to Corrections.
Tuesday, October 8th
Officers stopped a vehicle at Badger Avenue and Superior Street for speeding. Officers then detected the odor of marijuana. The male driver initially denied having marijuana, but admitted to officers that he had marijuana and a pipe when officers told him that they would be searching the vehicle. The driver was arrested for felony possession of marijuana, 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday, October 2nd
Officers responded to a report of a tree down across the southbound lane of Hwy. 45, approximately ½ mile south of Cty. Rd. D. Officers removed the larger pieces of debris. A message with left with the Highway Department about cleaning up the rest.
Officers responded to a report of a tree across the road on Crystal Lake Road off of E. Crystal Lake Road. The road was entirely blocked. The town chairman was notified. He told officers that he would take care of it.
Officers responded to a call from a subject reporting that they struck a deer on Hwy. 55. The deer had come through the windshield and was dead in the passenger seat. Dispatch asked the caller several times if they needed medical assistance, but it was declined. The vehicle was towed.
Thursday, October 3rd
Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that he hit and an eagle with his vehicle at Hwy. 45 and Knight Road. The caller told officers that he continued driving, so he did not know if there was damage to his vehicle. Officers picked up the eagle and turned it over to DNR staff.
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that she swerved to miss some turkeys and ended up in the ditch at Oak Road and Sherry Road. The vehicle was pulled out. There was no damage.
Friday, October 4th
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that her brakes went out on her vehicle and she struck a dumpster which pushed her into another vehicle on Hwy. 45.
Officers responded to a call from a male reporting a break in at his cabin on Cty. Rd. M. He told officers that the last time he had been there was on September 28th. The side service door was now kicked in and a lock on a smaller shed. He was missing a lot of tools, a television and a DVD player.
Saturday, October 5th
Officers received a call from a female on Neva Lake Road reporting that someone went through the intersection and took out their satellite and did damage to their lawn. The caller told officers that she believed that it occurred around 12:30am because her dish had been out for 7 hours.
Officers responded to a 911 call reporting that a vehicle almost struck their vehicle at Hwy. 64 and Cty. Rd. H. The vehicle then went into the ditch and struck a pole. WPS was notified. The vehicle was towed.
Sunday, October 6th
Officers responded to a report of a tree across the road on Cty. Rd. D, ¼ mile west of S. Rollwood Road. Half of the eastbound lane was open. There were no lines down. The Highway Department was notified and the road was cleared.
Tuesday, October 8th
Officers received a call from a male on Orchard Road reporting that someone had trespassed on his property. He told officers that while checking his pheasant pens on October 7th, the card was still in his camera, but when he was there this morning, the card for the camera was gone and he saw footprints there. He followed the footprints and they led straight towards a neighbor’s house.
