ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Wednesday, October 30th
Officers responded to a report of an accident in the parking lot of an area business on Hwy. 64. Property damage only.
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that a sick fox was lying right off of East Town Drive in a field, just west of Whispering Pines Lane. The caller told officers that she had seen the fox in her yard and its fur was coming off and its eyes were squinted. Officers were unable to locate the fox.
Officers stopped a vehicle at Clermont Street and Willard Avenue. The driver was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant and referred for operating after revocation.
Friday, November 1st
Officers responded to a call from an area business on Superior Street reporting that a customer found a needle by the front door. Officers picked up and disposed of the used needle.
Officers responded to a call from North Elementary School on Graham Avenue requesting assistance from an officer for a 4K student who had taken off.
Officers responded to a call from an area business on Hwy. 64 reporting that they a male subject and a female subject detained for stealing liquor.
Officers responded to a call from a subject on 5th Avenue reporting that their landlord was trying to kick in the door. The caller told officers that they believed the landlord was intoxicated. Officers warned the landlord not to have any further contact with the neighbors that evening.
Saturday, November 2nd
Officers stopped a vehicle at Superior Street and 4th Avenue. A field sobriety test was conducted. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st offense and having a prohibited alcohol content, 1st offense. They were also cited for speeding and having no proof of insurance.
Officers responded to a call from an area business on Superior Street reporting that a male subject was back, after trying to purchase beer earlier and the clerk would not sell it to him. He had started swearing and making rude gestures. He was very talkative and spiraled into wanting to fight people. The male subject was described as heavier set, 5”10” tall, wearing a plaid jacket and an orange hat. He left on foot heading towards another business across the street. Officers made contact with the male subject and told him to go home and calm down for the night.
Officers arrested a subject from Texas at an address on 5th Avenue on an extraditable probation warrant.

Wednesday, October 30th
Officers received a call from an area business on Antigo Street in Elcho reporting a gas drive-off for $40 the night before. The vehicle was described as an older model Chevy Silverado, gray or white in color. The license plate number was covered by tape. The male driver was on the surveillance video, but he had his hoodie up, so his face was not seen on the camera.
Officers stopped a vehicle on W. Hollister Road and Hwy. 55. The K9 officer got a positive hit on the vehicle. The vehicle was searched. A male passenger refused to identify himself. The driver was taken into custody.
Officers responded to a report of a semi versus car accident with injuries on Hwy. 55. Pickerel EMS personnel requested that a helicopter respond to the Pickerel Fire Department to transport an 86 year old male patient who was conscious but having trouble breathing.
Thursday, October 31st
Officers received a call from a female reporting that she was following a maroon mini-van going south on Hwy. 45, just passing Noboken Lane that was crossing the centerline and at one time was completely on the wrong side of the road. The caller gave officers the license plate number of the vehicle. The information was given to all county squads.
Officers stopped a vehicle at Hwy. 55 and Cty. Rd. K. The K9 officer had a hit on the vehicle. The vehicle was searched. The driver was taken into custody on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers responded to a report of a road blockage from a sofa in the lane of traffic on Hwy. 45, south of Cty. Rd. I.
Friday, November 1st
Officers received a call from an establishment on Hwy. 55 reporting damage to the tires of three vehicles and some missing items from inside.
Officers received a call from an area business on Hwy. 45 in Summit Lake reporting a gas drive-off. They told officers that they would call back later with more information.
Saturday, November 2nd
Officers responded to a call reporting a UTV in the ditch, in the eastbound lane, at Cty. Rd. D and Cty. Rd. S. The caller was unaware if there were any injuries. The male driver was given a ride back to his residence.
Officers received a call from a female on Riverside Road reporting that there was a car in her driveway and the people that were there were taking items from the garage. The caller told officers that she recognized the passenger of the vehicle as the previous renter of her house. The vehicle was described as a silver 2006 Kia Spectra. The caller told officers that the suspects left going towards Mole Lake. Officers sent a teletype to the Forest County Sheriff’s Office requesting that they make contact with the subjects and tell them that they are not allowed on the property without prior permission or they would be charged with trespassing.
Sunday, November 3rd
Officers assisted the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office with a two car accident at Hwy. 45 and Swollow Lane. One car had rear-ended another car causing the second vehicle to go into the ditch. Emergency Medical Services were en route.
Monday, November 4th
Officers responded to a call from a subject with the Town of Rolling reporting that the county was trying to grade Dahlke Road and a male subject was there threatening them and running them off of the road. He was claiming that it was a private road, although he had no proof of it.
Officers received a call from a business on Cty. Rd. K reporting that sometime after 10/26/19, someone stole some change, a ball hitch and some small tools from a 2007 Jeep Compass that belonged to a subject from Oshkosh. The caller told officers that the vehicle had been locked. There were no suspects.
Tuesday, November 5th
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that she, her husband and a realtor were looking at a property on Combs Road, when a male subject came onto the property and started yelling at them and trying to hit people with a cane. According to the caller, neither party owned the property, but both are interested in buying it. The male subject’s vehicle was described as a red Ford Sport Explorer. The male subject was gone upon officer’s arrival. A teletype was sent to the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office requesting them to deliver a message to the male subject telling him that he was no longer welcome on the property.
