Antigo Police & Langlade County Sheriff Reports for 4/22/19

ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS

Wednesday, April 10th

10:57 AM Officers responded to a report that a straight truck had clipped another vehicle at an area gas station in the city. There were no injuries.

1:49 PM Officers cited a student for possession of tobacco/nicotine product at Antigo High School.

1:52 PM Officers cited a student for possession of tobacco/nicotine product at Antigo Middle School.

Thursday, April 11th

3:18 PM Officers responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance. Officers arrested a female subject on Langlade County Sheriff’s Office warrants.

6:53 PM Officers responded to a report of kids throwing rocks in the city.

Friday, April 12th

7:20 PM Officers responded to a call reporting that a number of cars were parked in the Deleglise Street and Smith Avenue area and traffic was unable to get through. One vehicle was buried in the snow. Another vehicle was moved to clear the area.

10:25 PM Officers responded to multiple calls reporting a fight in the lobby of a residential building on 5th Avenue.

Saturday, April 13th

1:06 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at Dorr Street and 4th Avenue. Two male subjects were taken into custody.

7:46 PM Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at an area business on Superior Street.

Sunday, April 14th

7:01 PM Officers responded to a report that a vehicle had just went into a snowbank in the 200 block of 5th Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

Monday, April 15th

2:07 AM Officers responded to a call reporting that an intoxicated male subject had his dark colored Camaro stuck in a parking lot and had been revving the engine for the past hour. The male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

7:35 AM Officers responded to a call reporting an accident in the 400 block of Lincoln Street. The caller had backed into another vehicle. There was minor damage to both vehicles.

9:35 AM Officers received a call from an area business reporting that an employee’s truck had been rummaged through the day before, but not reported. Nothing had been taken, but the door was left open. They now noticed on their video that a kid had entered the vehicle and then went into another business next door. Officers were investigating.

4:39 PM Officers responded to a report that two motorcycles that were southbound on Superior Street and then eastbound on 7th Avenue were speeding and doing wheelies. One driver was described as having dark head gear on and the other driver was described as having a pinkish helmet or hat. Officers did not receive a description of the motorcycles. Officers found the cyclists at an area business on Superior Street.

7:14 PM Officers responded to a call reporting that three boys were in a yard in the city, shooting a BB gun. Officers told the parents of the boys that they were not allowed to shoot BB guns in the city.

Tuesday, April 16th

10:13 AM Officers cited a student for disorderly conduct at Antigo High School.

10:16 AM Officers cited a student for disorderly conduct at Antigo High School.

10:21 AM Officers referred a student for disorderly conduct at Antigo Middle School.

10:43 AM Officers issued two citations for disorderly conduct at Antigo Middle School.

11:44 AM Officers responded to a requested for an officer at the Antigo High School for a possible drug related incident.

6:27 PM Officers responded to a report of a car versus motorcycle accident at 1st Avenue and Western Road.

9:59 PM Officers responded to a 911 call reporting an accident in the parking lot of an area business on Century Avenue between a Uhaul and a truck.

LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS

Friday, April 12th   

2:41 PM Officers responded to a report of an accident at 6th Avenue and Clermont Street in Antigo.

11:00 PM Officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch in the county.

Saturday, April 13th

7:49 PM Officers stopped a vehicle at Hwy. 45 and Sunnyside Road. One female subject was taken into custody.

Sunday, April 14th

12:10 PM Officers received an anonymous call reporting that a side by side 2 seat UTV with a lime green frame and roll bar was continually riding on Hwy. 64 in Elton. The caller told officers that the UTV had pulled out in front of him and drove in the lane of traffic. The caller asked that officers speak to the driver about riding in the roadway.

Tuesday, April 16th

7:56 AM Officers responded to a complaint of a dark blue, mid-size car that passed in a no-passing zone on a corner, while going 75 MPH, westbound on Hwy. 64 just east of Polar. Officers stopped the vehicle at Hwy. 64 and Hwy. 52. The driver was arrested on an Oconto County Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to pay for a traffic offense. The driver was also cited for speed and given a warning for passing on a curve.

1:53 PM Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident with injuries at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. C.
