Tuesday, April 21st
Officers received a call from a male reporting that his pickup truck had been keyed while it was parked at an address on Clermont Street. The damage was to the driver’s side from the back wheel to the front and across the gas cover. There were no suspects.
Saturday, April 25th
Officers assisted with a fire call at a residence on 2nd Avenue. There was a fire on the front porch and extinguishers were not enough to get it out. Multiple fire departments responded.
Monday, April 27th
Officers responded to a fire call at a residence on 6th Avenue. The apartment was filled with smoke, coming from the oven. There was burnt food in the oven.
Tuesday, April 28th
Officers responded to a report of a theft at an address on Hwy. 64.
Officers responded to a report of drug paraphernalia found on Mendlik Avenue. Officers picked up two needles on Mendlik Avenue between Pine Street and Elm Street. The needles were disposed of.
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at N. Langlade Road and North Avenue. The caller reported that one vehicle was going down Langlade Road while the other vehicle was on North Avenue and went through the stop sign.
Officers responded to a report of an accident on Neva Road.

Thursday, April 23rd
Officers responded to a fire call from a farm on Hill Road. A tractor was on fire.
Officers stopped a vehicle at Western Avenue and 5th Avenue. Officers received consent to search the vehicle. One subject was referred for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Another subject was referred for obstructing.
Friday, April 24th
Officers responded to a report of a tree down across the southbound lane of Cty. Rd. J, west of Hwy. 45. The Highway Department was notified.
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that she had swerved to miss a deer and went into the ditch at Hwy. 55 and Sylvan Acres Road West. There was damage to the grill and a tire on the vehicle. There were no injuries. The vehicle was towed.
Officers received a call from a subject on Forrest Road reporting fraudulent charges that were made on two credit cards. The caller told officers that the cards had been frozen and marked as fraudulent.
Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that someone sawed off the catalytic converter from his vehicle that was parked for sale on Hwy. 45, north of Now Road.
Officers assisted with a fire call on Stamper Road. There was a one acre grass fire with a possible power line down.
Officers stopped a vehicle at Hwy. 64 and Hwy. 55. They received consent to search the vehicle. A subject was referred for possession of marijuana and was warned about a display of power.
Saturday, April 25th
Officers responded to a report of a white car that had an occupant who shot a gun out of the window into a field. There were six shots. The vehicle was last seen going northbound on Western Avenue from Cty. Rd. X. The caller gave officers a description of the driver and said that the vehicle was a smaller white vehicle, like a Grand Am and there were scratches on the back driver’s side door. Officers did stop a vehicle but determined that they did not have anything to do with that call.
Officer responded to a call from the Department of Natural Resources reporting that they had received information that someone was camping near the Rabe Lake State Fishing Area on the west side of Polar Road. Camping equipment, needles, condoms and headless animal carcasses were found.
Sunday, April 26th
Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. X. A field sobriety test was conducted. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st offense.
Officers responded to a call from a female on Sugarbush Road reporting that she and her husband had watched three intoxicated men on a four wheeler drive into their pond. She told officers that her husband was helping them get their four-wheeler out of the pond.
Officers responded to a report of an accident on Hwy. 64. The caller told officers that a vehicle had hit a culvert at 1:00 AM that morning and the driver had left. Officers located the vehicle. It had significant damage and two flat tires. Officers got in contact with the registered owner who told them that he had already told his insurance company about the incident and they told him that he did not need to call law enforcement. The male subject was cited for operating left of center.
Officers responded a fire call at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. D on the north side of the road by the old wayside. The fire was basically out upon their arrival.
Officers responded to a shooting call at an address on Stoney Road. The reporting person told officers that the shooter had shot once in the air and once at them. Officers were advised that the subject may have possible PTSD issues. The caller told officers that the male subject was walking south on Stoney Road, wearing a gray and black flannel jacket, boots and blue jeans. Officers located the subject and took him into custody.
