Monday, November 9th
12:54am- Aspirus Langlade Hospital requested officer presence for a male patient with drug related issues who was becoming agitated. The male signed himself out against medical advice. The incident was reported to probation and parole.
Sunday, November 8th
6:24pm- Officers responded to a call of a burglary on 10th Avenue. Various tools were missing from the shed at this residence. These items were last seen about a week ago. An officer talked with neighbors and will check for items at local pawnshops.
5:20pm- Officers responded to a call of damage to a home on Edison Street. The reporting party stated that while she was gone a known individual came into her home and destroyed her basement. The male party was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal damage.
11:02am- Officers responded to a call from the passenger of a vehicle in an accident at the intersection of Century Avenue and Neva Road. The vehicle was struck from behind. No medical assistance was needed.
2:20am- Officers stopped a vehicle at North Langlade Rd. and North Ave. The driver was cited for operating without a valid driver’s license and the vehicle owner was given a 10-day correction notice for non-registration.
Saturday, November 7th
9:26pm- Officers responded to a call from a female on Arctic Street, reporting that a male just threatened her with a pipe and she hit him on the head with her hand. A call was also received from the male subject, saying that the female hit him in the eye. He stated that he did not have a pipe. Neither wanted anything done about the confrontation. Both were warned that they would be receiving citations for harassment if anything else happened.
7:09 pm- Officers responded to an accident on Neva Road. Vehicle 1 was pulling out from the Kwik Trip and McDonald’s access road, stopped for the stop sign, then pulled out on Neva Rd. going southbound. Vehicle 2 was southbound on Neva Rd. Vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2 in the rear quarter panel. The driver of Vehicle 1 said that he did not see Vehicle 2.
3:39pm- A female called to report that a male in his 50’s approached her the day before, while walking on 4th Avenue and asked her questions about how old she was. This caller had just seen the same individual talking with another female by 3rd Avenue and Deliglise Street. The subject was described as tall with glasses and no facial hair, and appeared to have something in his ear. The area was checked by officers.
6:08am- Officers responded to a reported burglary on Field Street. A male called to report a television had been stolen from his garage. The television had been there the night before, garage was unlocked. Nothing else was missing from the garage.
2:53am- Officers stopped a vehicle at 3rd Avenue & Edison Street. The driver was cited for operating without a valid driver’s license.
1:41am- An officer struck a deer with a squad car at 2nd & Virginia streets. Very minor damage to squad, deer ran off and could not be located.
Friday, November 6th
9:39pm- Officers stopped a vehicle at 5th Avenue & Field Street. The driver was cited for operating a vehicle while license is suspended.
8:21pm- Officers stopped a vehicle on 4th Avenue & Superior Street. Driver was cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license and non-registration.
6:58pm- Officers responded to a call from a male on 10th Avenue, reporting that the upstairs neighbors have put a hole in his ceiling, after pounding with a hammer on their floor. Officer talked with neighbors who said that they had permission from the landlord to fix the hole.
1:30am- Officers responded to a 911 hang up call on Clermont Street. A male & female were arguing. The female was very intoxicated. She was arrested on a probation hold issued by Department of Corrections.
Thursday, November 5th
9:29pm- Officers responded to an anonymous call of a possibly intoxicated person in a parking lot on St. Rd. 64. A male was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st offense.
3:54pm- A male caller on 5th Avenue reports that someone attempted to remove the tailgate from his truck last night, but were unsuccessful.
Wednesday, November 4th
11:00pm- An officer went to an establishment on 6th Avenue. A male was referred for illegal possession of a prescription and drug paraphernalia.
12:09pm- An officer responded to a call of an accident in the parking lot of a business on St. Rd. 64. A male driver was southbound in the parking lot. He stated that he was looking for a parking spot and attempted a left turn. He stated that he saw the light pole but did not see the stop sign pole and struck it. The front bumper and fender area received severe damage. No damage to the stop sign pole and no injuries.
1:53am- Officers responded to a request from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department for a possible missing person, a male was last heard from on 11/3/15. It is considered extremely out of character for this person not to contact someone for such a long time. The male’s phone had been traced to the Antigo area. Officers were unable to locate the male.
Tuesday, November 3rd
8:38pm- Police station received a report of multiple calls made to local businesses, from someone saying that they are with WPS, and that a money gram needs to be sent or their electricity will be shut off. Businesses were advised that this is a scam.
12:43am- Officers responded to a call about a possible overdose of a female on Dorr St. EMS was paged. When officers arrived, the female was clearly hallucinating. Antigo Fire Department transported the female to Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was taken to area health care facility the next day on a standing commitment.
Monday, November 2nd
3:18pm- Officers responded to a call from an employee with a local sand & gravel company that a juvenile male jumped the barricade into freshly poured concrete on 5th Avenue & Clermont Street. Officers searched for the boy, who was later found and issued a citation for disorderly conduct.
