The Antigo Red Robins Varsity Football team played their first home game of the season Thursday night against the Ashland Oredockers. Antigo went in for a touchdown in the first quarter, but a flag was thrown on the play.
The score remained 0-0 going into halftime.
Antigo Quarterback Nevin Cornelius passed to Tight End Jack Braun who was open in the end zone in the third quarter, giving Antigo the first score of the game.
The Robins were unable to hold off the Oredockers in the remainder of the game, taking a loss to Ashland, 26-20.
Their next game is away against Lakeland on Friday, September 7. The next home game is the Bell Game against the Hodags on September 14.
