Hannah Smith and Brittney Wald have been selected to receive the Aspirus Langlade Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship in the amount of $1000 each.

In December 2016, Hannah will complete her Associate Degree in the nursing program from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College located in Green Bay.  She plans to continue her education at a UW school, earning a Bachelor Degree, as well as starting her career as a Registered Nurse.  Hannah states that her "ultimate goal would be to work in a children's hospital and be able to be a light in the life of children and families that have been handed a hard situation." She is the daughter of Mike and Tina Smith of Antigo.

Brittney has been accepted into the Physical Therapy Program at Carroll University located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She has completed her sophomore year.  She will graduate with a Bachelor Degree in exercise science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Brittney is active in many clubs, committees and volunteer projects, as well as being on the women's basketball team. She hopes to use her expertise to give future patients exercises, nutritional advice, and all the information needed to stay healthy, resulting in better health outcomes. She is the daughter of Jon and Rhonda Wald.
