Betty Lou Janssen, of Antigo, died Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Colonial Manor Medical & Rehabilitation Center in Wausau. She was 90 years old. She was born on October 2, 1928, in Milwaukee, a daughter of Winfield and Marquerite (Tillman) Cameron. She married Earl Janssen on May 3, 1947, in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1986.
She graduated from Rufus King High School in Milwaukee with the class of 1947.
Betty owned and operated Betty Pin Money, Hobby, Craft and Gift Shop in Antigo. She was a bookkeeper for Mid-Wisconsin Buses from 1989 until her retirement on November 1, 2008.
She was a member of the Deerbrook Women's Club
Betty was a loving mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed gardening and playing cards.
Survivors include a son, Scott Janssen of Antigo; three grandchildren, Heather Janssen, Scott Janssen and Sean Janssen; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Kay Tuckwab.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jedras officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 28 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
