Burt achieves personal bests at state swim meet

Mya Burt competed in the 2017 Wisconsin LCM 12U State Meet in Brown Deer, WI, at the Schroeder Aquatic Center on July 29-30th. Throughout the 2016-2017 swim season, Mya had qualified for state in three swims: 100 backstroke, 50 backstroke and 50 freestyle. She swam in a 50 meter pool and competed with nearly 600 of the top swimmers from Wisconsin.

Mya is an Antigo Swim Club member and swam at this USA sanctioned event with the Northern Lakes Aquatic Club (NLAC). Mya had a wonderful weekend in the pool and achieved two personal best times as well as an Antigo Swim Club record in the 50 Freestyle.
