ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Feb. 24th
A harassment complaint was made in regards to slanderous facebook posts just before 9am.
A traffic stop near State Rd 64 just after 5:40pm resulting in a written warning for speed.
An assist citizen was logged when a local came to the safety building just after 8pm with a piece of mail addressed to someone else. ANPD stated they would send the letter back.
A report of suspicious activity was filed when a local reported they observed a subject approach their residence (location not provided) with their face covered by their jacket.
Just before noon officers assisted a citizen with short term memory loss who was upset and confused near AHS.
A report of trespass to property was filed when the property manager of Pebble Ridge Apts reported a specific person continuously comes and goes when they are not a resident.
AN animal complaint came in just after 11:30pm about a chocolate lab that had been found with no collar.
Feb 23rd
A domestic call came in just after 1:30am resulting in one person being taken into custody.
Just after 7:30am a report of assault and battery came in (location not provided). A subject was punched in the face and was bleeding, denied EMS services.
A traffic complaint came in just before 1pm, caller stated at a red light near Neva Rd., a driver rolled down their window and said “Do you think you will make it out alive?” Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
Feb 22nd
Around 1:30pm an animal complaint came in stating that a medium brown and black lab with a red collar was running in the road.
An animal complaint came in just before 2pm from a neighbor near 2nd Ave., stating that their neighbor’s dog runs loose often and chases the outdoor cats.
A mental health call came in just after 7pm near Birch St., no other details were provided.

Just before midnight a call came in reporting 3 or 4 possible males running in the road, being loud, wearing jackets & sweatpants. Officers were unable to locate.
Just before midnight a robbery report came in near 5th Ave. No other details were provided.
Feb. 19th
A traffic stop was conducted near 2nd Avenue and Superior Street. The driver was verbally warned regarding seat-belt use and a license plate issue.
Officers facilitated a prisoner transport from a medical facility appointment back into custody, as scheduled earlier.

LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS
Feb. 24th
A caller reported around 4am suspicious activity noting the Town of Ainsworth Town Hall utility truck near Cty. Rd. TT has been sitting for approx. 2 weeks and now the lights on top are on. The officer inspected and noted the top light was on but the truck was locked and secured.
Multiple units responded to a structure fire near Cty. Rd. M around 5am.
A harassment complaint was filed near Bissle St. around 7:30am. No other information was provided.
A person walking near Old 26 Rd. & Cty. Rd. G around 2:30pm found a jewel bag with a white residue in it. Officers logged the item for destruction.
A road block was reported around 4:40pm near State Rd. 64 & Pioneer Rd. Caller reported large amounts of water running over the road. The area was subsequently closed temporarily.
Feb. 23rd
A suspicious activity report was taken just after 8:20am near Augustyn Springs & Cty. Rd. A. Caller stated a vehicle had been sitting there all day the previous day and was still there. Officers recognized the vehicle and noted from past complaints, owner likes to walk around those woods. No further action was taken.
Feb. 22nd
Officers responded to an ATV crash just after 1am near State Rd. 17 & Cty. Rd. Q. The victim was transported by helicopter.
A trail pass violation was issued just after 2:40pm to a snowmobile near Jones Rd. & Cty. Rd. O for not stopping at a marked stop on trail.
A fraud report was filed at the safety building regarding someone being scammed out of $10k.
Feb. 21st
Just after 8am a verbal warning was given following a traffic stop near Hill Rd. & Zima Rd. for frost covered windows.
A traffic stop around 7:30am near Hill Rd. & State Rd. 64 following officers observing the driver drive on the wrong side of the road. Driver stated he was looking for coyote tracks and would be running dogs later.
A snowmobile traffic stop took place just after 11am near Lost Lake Rd. resulting in a citation for a stop sign violation.
A traffic complaint was filed after a caller reported a gray blazer crossing over centerline and shoulder lines just after noon near Elton South Rd. Officers were unable to locate.
Just after 8pm an Iphone automated crash alert was reported near Grudgeville Rd. After officers drove the area , unable to locate any crashes or signs of an accident, they went to the registered address of the phone to find out that the phone had just fallen off the truck during the drive home.
