Clara Luther, 83

Clara Luther, formerly of Antigo, died Monday, March 14, 2016 in Keller, Texas. She was 83 years old. She was born on April 14, 1932 in Antigo, a daughter of Edward and Mary (Prasalowicz) Maresh. She married Norbert Luther on May 25, 1953 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1998.

Clara and Norbert raised their family in the Milwaukee area. After retirement they moved to Antigo. In 2010 Clara moved to Texas to be near her daughter.

She enjoyed reading, completing crossword puzzles, walking and time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Pat (Paul) Glowacki of Trophy Club, Texas; two sons, Jeff (Debbie) Luther of Big Bend, Dan (Amy) Luther of Appleton; one sister, Patricia (Pat) Higgins of Ackley; six grandchildren Jacob (Leticia) Glowacki, Melanie (Josh) Larson, Joseph and Sarah Luther, Eric and Steven Luther; two great-grandchildren, Noah Glowacki and Wesley Larson.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by an infant son, three sisters, Marylyn Bond, Dolores Hull and one sister in infancy; two brothers Vernon and Edward Maresh.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 16, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
