Play & Learn October 13^th 9:30-11am Antigo Community Church - Room #2, 723 Deleglise Street, Antigo. Play & Learn is a weekly play group program for parents, caregivers and children from birth to age 5. Staff will provide a parent lesson, an activity for parents and children to do together.  The activity will build skills for school readiness and milestone achievement. Quarterly Ages and Stages questionnaires are made available to parents and caregivers to assist families in helping their children to reach age based development milestones. They Came to Work in the Woods" Presentation October 13^th 6-9pm Pine Tree Supper Club, 115 W. Wisconsin Ave., Tomahawk. The Tomahawk Area Historical Society will have a presentation about the days of the CCC camp during the 1930's and 1940's. Camp Tomahawk S-84, Company 1608 is the subject of "They Came to Work in the Woods". James and Scott Henderson, co-authors of the book will share their story. Treehaven Decorative Artist's Painting October 14^th-October 16^th, Fri. 9am - Sun. 10am Tree Haven Outdoor Education Campus, W2540 Pickerel Creek Rd., Tomahawk. This two and one-half-day retreat begins with check-in from 9am to noon on Friday, October 14th, with the first class beginning at 1pm. A selection of 3-hour, 4-hour, 6-and 8-hour classes are available to choose from on a first registered, first assigned basis.  The retreat will end with lunch on Sunday. Meals and lodging are available at Treehaven.   ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Attendees are invited to come for any one day or for all three days of the retreat.  Various juried decorative painting instructors have been selected to present classes in a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic, oil, and pen and ink. 41st Annual Junior Women's Craft/Trade Show October 15^th 9am-3:30pm Langlade County Fairgrounds Multi-Purpose Building, 1633 Neva Road, Antigo. 10th Annual Zoo Boo October 15^th 1-5pm Wildwood Wildlife Park, 10094 State Hwy 70 West, Minocqua. Zoo Boo is a merry-not-scary Halloween celebration. It’s a masquerade party for the whole family! Merrill Historical Society Cemetery Tour October 15^th 11am, 2pm & 6pm & October 16^th 2pm. Join local historians Jane Francoeur and Wayne Vandre for a walk through history.
