Bottoms Up, A Celebration of Wisconsin Taverns & Breweries October 17th 6:30-8pm Antigo Public Library, 617 Clermont Street, Antigo "Bottoms Up" celebrates Wisconsin's taverns and the breweries that fueled them. Beginning with inns and saloons, author James R. Draeger explores the rise of taverns and breweries, the effects of temperance and Prohibition, and attitude about gender, ethnicity, and morality. Play & Learn is a weekly play group program for parents, caregivers and children from birth to age 5. Staff will provide a parent lesson, an activity for parents and children to do together. Merrill Historical Society Cemetery Tour October 22nd 11am, 2pm & 6pm & October 23rd 2pm. Join local historians Jane Francoeur and Wayne Vandre for a walk through history.
