Women On Snow January 14-16th Waubee Lodge, 18398 Waubee Lake Dr., Lakewood. All ladies interested in spending a weekend on snowmobiles are welcome! Registration includes lodging, meals, entertainment and fun Friday to Sunday.

53rd Annual Amsoil World Championship January 14th-17th Eagle River Derby Track, 1311 N. Railroad St., Eagle River. Classes include everything from kids, women, stock and modified racing. It hosts 3 separate racing venues: ice oval, sno-cross & vintage racing. Thursday evening features time trials, Friday night features “Friday Night Thunder”, Saturday features quarter & semi-finals leading up to Sunday’s Championship Finals. Races start at 10am.

Gleason International Raceway Winter Races January 16th Gleason Community Club, N5335 State Hwy 17, Gleason. Gates open at 8am, Races start at 11am. Go to www.gleasoncc.org for more information.

Merrill Ice Drags January 16th Reg. at 9am, races begin at noon. Council Grounds State Park, N1895 Council Grounds Dr., Merrill. Dragsters, muscle cars & trucks race on an 1/8-mile strip of ice on Lake Alexander. Access to ice is through the Council Grounds State Park. Dates may change, please check website. Red Arrow 41st Annual Vintage Ride and Bon Fire January 16th 11am-3pm Red Arrow groomer garage, Townsend. Club trail ride meets at 10AM for about a three hour ride. Public is invited to ride along to the club’s Annual “Bonfire in the Woods” Free Hot dogs and a roaring fire. 33rd Annual Crandon Lions Club Fish-O-Ree January 16th Noon-? Crandon Community Building, 601 W Washington St, Crandon. Cash prizes for longest walleye, northern, perch, crappie & pan fish. 1st prize $50, 2nd prize $25, 3rd prize $10. Food & drinks, meat raffles, paddle wheel, raffle, children's games all day.
