Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County Non-School Days January 2^nd-3^rd 7:30am – 5:30pm Boys & Girls Club of Langlade Co., 411 Superior St., Antigo. There is no school on this day, but the club will be open with dynamic programming all day. On Non-school days we serve breakfast from 7:30-8:30 am, lunch from 11:00 am – 12 noon and a snack from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm. We will be closed on Monday, Jan 2nd. Play & Learn January 5^th 9:30-11am N4013 Hwy. 45, Antigo. Play & Learn is a weekly play group program for parents, caregivers and children from birth to age 5. Staff will provide a parent lesson, an activity for parents and children to do together.  The activity will build skills for school readiness and milestone achievement. Quarterly Ages and Stages questionnaires are made available to parents and caregivers to assist families in helping their children to reach age based development milestones. Laona Lions Predator Hunt and Fundraiser January 7^th T-Bob’s Sports Bar & Grill, 4863 Elm St., Laona. Callers & hound hunters are included in the hunt and there will be prizes for the largest, smallest, & most coyotes, the largest bobcat and the largest fox as determined by weight. No trappers allowed. The weigh-in will be from 5-7:30pm and all animals must be taken on the day of the hunt. There is a $10 entry fee. There will also be door prizes and raffles. Gleason International Raceway Winter Races January 7^th Gates open at 8am Races Start 11am. International Raceway, N5335 State Hwy. 17, Gleason. Moose Tracks Snowshoe Race January 7^th 11am Minocqua Winter Park, 7543 Squirrel Hill Rd, Minocqua. Snowshoers of all strides come to Minocqua Winter Park for an exhilarating event, the Moose Tracks Snowshoe Race with 5k and 10k distances. The race course winds through the trails and forests of Winter Park. Starting from the chalet, racers will complete one or two laps of a scenic and challenging 5km trail that includes sections of x-country trails, single-track snowshoe trails, and powder.
