Winter Wonderland Through January 2nd 5-11pm Holtwood Campground, 400 Holtwood Way, Oconto. It's time to take in all things twinkly! Each year the Oconto Holtwood Campground gets turned into a Winter Wonderland with over 150 trees decorated & sponsored by area businesses & organizations. The park is lite nightly from 5-11pm. Immunization Clinic December 27th 9am-4pm Langlade County Health Department, 1225 Langlade Road, Antigo. The immunization clinic is available to provide childhood immunizations & adult vaccinations. The vaccinations are FREE to children 2 months - 18 years of age if you have Medical Assistance or no insurance. Adult vaccinations are available some with a minimal fee or FREE if you have MC or MA. Preschool Story Time December 27th 10:30-11:15am Antigo Public Library, 617 Clermont St., Antigo. Join us for story time at the Antigo Public Library! This is a great way for kids who haven't started school yet to meet & socialize with peers. Every week we'll read 2 or 3 books together as well as doing some songs & movement. We also do a simple craft or coloring page that helps kids develop creativity & motor skills, & occasionally (attendance permitting) other activities such as parachute play. This event is geared towards preschoolers, but older or younger kids are welcome to attend as well.
Fatbikes by Candlelight December 27th 5-10pm Northwoods Zip Line, 7849 Hwy. 51, Minocqua. Bring your fat bike or take out a demo for a candlelight bike ride with the Lakeland Area Mountain Bike Organization on the groomed trail at the Zip Line in Minocqua, Wisconsin. No entry fee. Play & Learn December 28th 9:30-11am N4013 Hwy. 45, Antigo. Play & Learn is a weekly play group program for parents, caregivers & children from birth to age 5. Staff will provide a parent lesson, an activity for parents & children to do together. The activity will build skills for school readiness & milestone achievement. Quarterly Ages & Stages questionnaires are made available to parents & caregivers to assist families in helping their children to reach age based development milestones. Open Skate December 28th 11:30am-1pm Langlade County Hockey Arena, 1633 Neva Road, Antigo. The Antigo Area Youth Hockey Association, in collaboration with the City of Antigo Park & Rec Department, offer FREE open skates throughout the year at the Langlade County Multi-Purpose Building. The Open Skates are FREE with the donation of a canned good. There are a limited supply of skates available for use (these are free, but must be returned at the end of the skate). Thank you to the Antigo Optimists for donating money for the purchase of more skates to be used by those in the community. There is no skate sharpening at the rink during open skate times. Registration is not required to attend Open Skates.

The Antigo Bike & Ski Club's Winter Waffles December 30th 9am-Noon Gartzke Flowage Hiking, Cross-Country Ski & Snowshoe Trails, W6379 Fifth Ave., Antigo. Meet at the main shelter at Gartzke Flowage for breakfast. Nick will be serving up his famous waffles. The club will also provide hot chocolate and coffee. Bring your favorite toppings, fruit, juice, or sausage to share. Bring all your friends & family. Admission is free. Trails will be groomed and ready. If the snow is marginal, we’ll hike.
