Play & Learn April 20th 9:30-11am N4013 Hwy. 45, Antigo. Play & Learn is a weekly play group program for parents, caregivers and children from birth to age 5. Staff will provide a parent lesson, an activity for parents and children to do together.  The activity will build skills for school readiness and milestone achievement. Quarterly Ages and Stages questionnaires are made available to parents and caregivers to assist families in helping their children to reach age based development milestones. T.B. Scott Mini Art Fair “Words Worth Hearing” April 20th 6-8pm T.B. Scott Library Community Room, 106 1st St., Merrill. Artist Matt Philleo of Eau Claire, Scott Savage, and Jamie Kalverstran, all artists originally from Merrill, will exhibit examples of their art, including Philleo's remarkable portrait painting technique. "Old Fashioned" Tavern Movie Night! April 20th 6-8pm ArtStart, 68 S. Stevens St., Rhinelander. We will be screening the film, "Bottoms Up: Wisconsin's Historic Bars & Breweries" from Wisconsin Public Television with our celebrity bartender, Ted White mixing his famous old fashioneds. Welcome To Dallas Brass April 20th 6:30pm Lakeland Union High School, 9573 WI-70, Minocqua. The Lakeland Performing Arts Association is bringing three talented young artists to take you for a stroll down memory lane. WI Sports & Military Firearm Collector Gun & Sport Show April 21st, 22nd & 23rd Friday 3-8pm, Saturday 9am-5pm & Sunday 9am-3pm. Langlade County Fairgrounds, 1633 Neva Rd., Antigo. Exhibitors display a wide variety of guns, knives and related accessories for the serious collector and sportsman in the Multi-Purpose Building at the Langlade County Fairgrounds. Multi-County Veterans Benefits Expo April 21st 8am-5pm Rhinelander National Guard Armory, 1136 Adams Way (formerly Military Rd.), Rhinelander. This expo will have County Veterans Service Office staff from Forest, Iron, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, Price, and Vilas counties, as well as people from dozens of organizations including the VA Regional Office, Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, Nicolet Area Technical College, Department of Workforce Development, VA Medical Center, and many others.  There will also be people who can provide information to help veterans with hearing loss, homeless veterans, senior living, heating assistance, filing VA pension and disability claims, and so much more.  All veterans, family members, survivors, and care givers of veterans are welcome to attend.  This event is free. Langlade County Ice Age Trail Chapter Spring Hike April 22nd 9am-3pm Langlade County Fairgrounds - County Forestry Office, 1633 Neva Road, Antigo. Join us for the chapter spring hike on a section of the Ice Age Trail in Langlade County. Meet in front of the Langlade County Forestry Office at the fairgrounds in Antigo Participants are encouraged to wear suitable clothing & bring a lunch. Transportation to the trail head will be provided from the fairgrounds. No fee or membership is required. The Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a thousand-mile footpath-entirely within Wisconsin-that highlights the Ice Age landscape features while providing access to some of the state's most beautiful natural areas. Corks, Forks & Brews a Night at the Derby April 22nd 6pm Swartzendruber’s Supper Club, 1315 Forrest Ave., Antigo. Come and enjoy this annual fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County. This year's theme is Kentucky Derby! Have some of Wisconsin’s finest local microbrews, wines, cheeses, hors d'oeuvres and specialty desserts.
