Hodag Water Shows Thru August 20th (Sun. & Wed.) 7pm Hodag Park, Boom Lake, 1103 Thayer St., Rhinelander. HWS performs a show that features acts such as ballet, jump, swivel skiing, trick skiing, barefooting, doubles, trios, wakeboarding, and pyramid.  Members range in age from 6 to almost 50 and some of the members have been with the team for more than 30 years.  Concessions such as hot dogs, walking tacos, nachos, cotton candy, chips, beverages and many other snacks are available at each show. Langlade County Community Day Camp July 10th 9am-4pm Camp Susan, Cty. Rd. B, Deerbrook. Summer camp is an excellent opportunity for youth to make new friends, get reacquainted with old friends, continue learning over the summer and have fun. There will be arts & crafts, boating & swimming, nature education and songs & games. Transportation from the Langlade Co. fairgrounds to camp and back is available. The public is invited to view “Wisconsin Remembers: A Face for Every Name.” It’s an exhibit honoring the 1,161 Wisconsinites officially listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.  The exhibit includes photos that were collected by volunteers from throughout Wisconsin over the past eight years. Elk's Club Soccer Shoot-Out July 11th 5:30-8pm Saratoga Soccer Field, 1235 Nantasket St., Antigo. Elk's Club Soccer Shoot-out is a fun FREE event courtesy of the local Elk's Club. You do not need to be registered for the Co-ed Youth Soccer Program to participate.  All children within the specified age groups are welcome to participate. Trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age division. Children compete in four age brackets. They will have a chance to test their soccer skills by shooting at goals at different distances & skill levels. There is one contest for ages 7 and under, 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13, boys & girls. Play & Learn – Police Department Field Trip July 13th 9:30 am Antigo Police Department, 840 Clermont St., Antigo. The Antigo area Splash-n-Dash race is held to help support the Antigo Penguins Club & Antigo High School Varsity Swim Team, while promoting health, wellness & tourism in the Antigo community! Camp Invention July 17th-21st 9am-3:30pm All Saints Catholic School, 419 Sixth Avenue, Antigo. Camp Invention - Antigo is for kids entering K-6th grade in Fall 2017. Back for its fourth year, Camp Invention is hosted at All Saints Catholic School but is a national science and technology curriculum, and not religious education. Children are presented with fun, hands-on challenges that encourage creative problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Bird Adventure Camp at REGI July 17th-20th 9am Raptor Education Group Inc., N2160 W.Rollwood Rd., Antigo. Calling all kids! Join REGI for our Bird Adventure Camp. The camp is for 1st-6th graders and each day has a birdy theme, including crafts, art projects, snacks, bird encounters, and more! 1st-3rd graders attend in the mornings from 9-12 and 4th-6th graders attend from 1-4 in the afternoons. The Kids from Wisconsin features students from all over the state in a music & dance performance. Tickets sell quickly so make sure to purchase yours early.
