Tuesday Run Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Health & Performance Center (Aspirus Hospital) at 5:15pm for a run. The running club is intended to be an opportunity to run with others. It is not a competitive event – just an opportunity to meet people that like to do the same thing as you – Get Outside & Run! We will run 3-4 miles. Play & Learn September 22nd 9:30-11am Antigo Community Church - Room #2, 723 Deleglise Street, Antigo. Play & Learn is a weekly play group program for parents, caregivers and children from birth to age 5. Staff will provide a parent lesson, an activity for parents and children to do together.  The activity will build skills for school readiness and milestone achievement. Quarterly Ages and Stages questionnaires are made available to parents and caregivers to assist families in helping their children to reach age based development milestones. Bike the Barn Quilts September 24th 8am-5pm Memorial Athletic Park, 909 Lincoln St., Shawano. Bike, hike or run Shawano County. View the 8’x8’ folk art quilt squares on rides from 5-70 miles and small quilts on the paved walk/run routes of 3.7 or 6 miles. See some of the more than 300 barn quilts in Shawano County. The $25 registration fee includes a continental breakfast, incentive, lunch, maps, signed routs, food & water stations, SAG vehicles & music. Colorama Bike Tour September 24th starting at Kitchenette Park, 211 West 1st St, Merrill.  Registration/Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. at Kitchenette Park, ride starts at 9am. Featuring 10 mile family fun ride, 30 and 50 mile rides. The cost is $27. We also allow registration on the morning of the ride. Registration fee includes long sleeve t-shirt (except late & day of registrations), food & refreshments at rest stops, and lunch after the rides.

The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event raising both awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. Together we walk in hopes that a cure will be found! 52nd Annual Beef-A-Rama September 24th 9am-8pm. Downtown, Minocqua. The downtown beef cook-offs begin early in the morning along with live music & other tasty treats. Roast beef sandwich sales start at 10am. Other activities include the Prime Choice craft show at Torpy Park from 9am-5pm, live music, cow plop, & of course the famous Parade of Beef at 2:15pm down main street! Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders "Big Woods 200" Off Road Event September 24th-25th Fairgrounds, 1800 Fairview Ave., Wabeno. The Big Woods 200 is a two-day dual sport motorcycle event based out of Wabeno in Forest County. The Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders motorcycle club puts together an entertaining and challenging ride using scenic forest roads and two tracks. Many say that the best features of this ride are the many "hero" sections of single track trail on challenging terrain. Enjoy the fall colors as you ride through the forests.
