Merrill Lion's Car Show September 4th 8am-4pm Merrill Festival Grounds, 2001 E. 2nd St., Merrill. The Merrill Lions Club will be holding their annual car show at the fairgrounds.  Return down memory lane as these vehicles bring back the yesteryears. Get your votes in before 12:30pm.

Merrill Labor Day Parade September 4th 10am S. Genesee & W. Main St., Merrill. Stand up and salute the service people that served our county.  Give them thanks as they go by.  Plus, enjoy the other floats as they work their way through the parade route. Watch the parade through the city of Merrill & head down to the Merrill Festival Grounds for flea market, food vendors, crafts, music and more.

Family Motor Coach Association Badger Club Rally September 6th-10th Langlade County Fairgrounds, 1633 Neva Rd., Antigo. FMCA Badger Chapter Member Motorhomes from all around WI, IL, IA, and MN along with likely friends from other states are holding a members rally at the fairgrounds. It is expected that 50-60 coaches will be attending this event. Visitors to our area will tour local facilities, eat meals at local establishments, and enjoy our community offerings. Stumble Stump Rendezvous September 7th-10th Springbrook Walking Trail, in the clearing just off of Virginia St., Antigo. The Stumble Stump Rendezvous is a camp full of re-enactors of the fur trapping and trading era of the 1800s. Volunteers dress in period clothes and put on demonstrations including craft demonstrations, candle making, leather working, cooking, knife throwing, & black powder demonstrations. Play & Learn September 7th 9:30-11am N4013 Hwy. 45, Antigo. Play & Learn is a weekly play group program for parents, caregivers and children from birth to age 5. Staff will provide a parent lesson, an activity for parents and children to do together.  The activity will build skills for school readiness and milestone achievement. Quarterly Ages and Stages questionnaires are made available to parents and caregivers to assist families in helping their children to reach age based development milestones. The Wolfman Triathlon September 9th 8am Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort, N3494 State Road 55 Gardner Dam Scout Camp, N2940 Gardner Dam Road, White Lake. Paddle down a 3-mile class II section of the Wolf River, then hop on your mountain bike for a 13-mile ride and finish with a 3-mile trail run. The race is limited to the first 250 start times and it fills very quickly. Starts at 8:00am at Gardner Dam Scout Camp. For more information, go to wolfmantriathlon.org.

SepTimber Ride September 9th 8am-2pm Tribute Brewing Company 1106 N. Bluebird Rd., Eagle River. Enjoy either a 28 or 31 mile ride on the beautiful Three Eagle trail. Registration fee includes the ride, wine tasting in Three Lakes, beer sampling in Eagle River, event t-shirt, brat picnic with all the fixings (noon-2pm) & door prizes. Triple R Riding Club's Fall Horse Trail Ride September 9th & 10th Noon-5pm Lily Sno-Birds Clubhouse, W4505 Turtle Lake Road, Lily. All trails are marked. You can ride on your own or with a guide at noon. Copy of current coggins is required for our records. Camping is available behind the Lily Sno-Birds Clubhouse. Weekend camping is $10 & $5 per horse.
