Daniel Rustick, of Bryant, died Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. He was 57 years old. He was born on December 26, 1961, in Antigo, a son of Theodore and Barbara (Cox) Rustick. He married Penny Boyd on November 19, 1982, in Antigo. She survives.
He had been an employee of J. W. Mattek and Sons Potato Farms from 1977 until retirement in 2017. His co-workers will long remember him for his pranks and practical jokes.
He enjoyed cooking, gardening, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. One of his greatest joys was working with his brothers building the "Rustick Hunting Cabin".
His hobbies included collecting a variety of knives and pocket watches along with walks in the woods to collect deer horn sheds.
Survivors including his wife are a daughter, Dayna (fiancee Mike Enright) Rustick, Mosinee; two sons, Daniel (Amanda) Rustick, Stevens Point, Adam (Jessica) Voight, Medford; four grandchildren Kaleb, Iliana, Mackenzie, and Quinn; four brothers, Garlund (Brenda) Rustick, Birnamwood, Buck (Dawn) Rustick, Wausau, Tim (Amy) Rustick, Rothschild, Ted Rustick, Jr., Antigo; two brothers-in-law William Andres, Antigo and Jimmy Boyd, Slinger.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Geneva Rustick-Clay, and Sheila Andres.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday July 30, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Rustick Hunting Cabin at a later date.
