David J. Italiano, of Elton, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at home at the age of 60. He was born on August 26, 1955 in Waukesha, a son of the late Anthony and Dolores (Schodtler) Italiano. He married Elizabeth Morin on January 21, 1984 in Waukesha. She survives.
He was a graduate of Brookfield Central High School with the class of 1973.
After graduating from high school, David began his lifelong career as an electrical mechanical technician and worked in the greater Milwaukee area until he semi-retired. He relocated to Elton with his wife to build their "little log house on the prairie" and pursue part time employment and his hobbies, especially hunting and motorcycling. He belonged to the motorcycle club "Road Riders for Jesus" and the National Rifle Association.
Survivors including his wife are two sons, Christopher Joseph (Rhonda) Italiano, New Brighton, Minn., Nicholas David (Taylor) Italiano, Waukesha; a step-daughter, Dawn E. (Greg) Coleman, Oconomowoc; a step-son, Cory R. Goetz, Watertown; a sister, Yvonne E. (Scott) Thurner, Pewaukee; a brother, James (Lauren) Italiano, California; a granddaughter, Serena Michelle Italiano; 5 step-grandchildren, Adam, Marianna, Kayla, Lindsey, Billy; a step-great grandchild, Hannah; many close cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and an uncle, as well as, good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10:30 until the time of services, all at the Bradley Funeral Home.
