Glenn was born on August 18, 1951 to Nelson L. Sieber and the late Marie (Gearhard) Sieber.
Glenn was a mason contractor.
He was also a veteran having served in the US Marines in Hawaii. He was one of the “magnificent 10”, one of ten members of the Sieber family having served in the US armed services. His grandfather Frank Sieber served in the US Navy, his father, Nelson Sieber served in US Marines on Mount Surabachi, Iwo Jima, uncle, Robert Sieber served in Europe in the US Army, uncle James Sieber gave his life as a US Marine and assisted in securing Mount Surabachi and also took part in the first flag raising on Iwo Jima. His uncle Frank Sieber served in the US Army, uncle Pat Sieber served in the US Navy in the South Pacific, uncle John “Jack” Sieber served in the US Marine Corp in Korea and his uncle Clarence Sieber served in the US Army in Germany. Glenn’s brother James served in the US Marine Corp. This rounded out 3 generation of the Sieber family serving the United States in the armed services.
Glenn is survived by his father, Nelson L. Sieber, a daughter, Rebecca, 5 sisters, Marie (Harvey) Reichelt, of Ossian, IN, Christine Sieber of Atlantic Beach, FL, Peggy (David) Mueller of Milwaukee, Cynthia (David) Drakulic of Wauwatosa, Sandra (Barry) Glasford of Cedarburg, 1 brother, James (Nancy) Sieber of Fairfield, IA, 2 grandchildren, his dear friend and companion Margy Guenthner of Aniwa , her family and many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his mother, Marie and his dear friend and companion, Kay Vahl.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home at 11:00 AM.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the service.
