Groundbreaking commences on new Peaceful Valley Pavilion

Groundbreaking began Friday on the new Peaceful Valley Pavilion located near All Saints Catholic School. The pavilion will be a 42’ 8” by 84’ 0” metal building with garage doors in the sidewalls and end-walls for easy conversion to open air. This new addition to the unique park atmosphere in the middle of Antigo will be used for gatherings, park activities, winter skating, and future farmers’ markets.

Park and Recreation Department Supervisor Sarah Repp hopes the pavilion will be completed by this fall. Antigo received funding from multiple sources for the project, including a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
