Cheryl Wirz and her family recently opened the It’s All Good Farmstand and Petting Zoo, giving Antigo city folk and tourists commuting through the Northwoods a chance to see and interact with various different farm animals.

“Business has been good,” Wirz said. “We’ve been open for five weeks now and have a lot of new things coming up.”

The zoo, located on Hwy 45 about two miles north of Fleet Farm in Antigo, offers pony rides in addition to allowing visitors to pet and feed the various animals, nearly 50 total, located on site. Expansion is on the horizon as the Wirzs look to celebrate summer holidays and autumn festivities in style.

The zoo will feature a vegetable stand opening this week, featuring all-organic produce for sale. In celebration of Fourth of July, the zoo will be offering waterslides, games, and other activities in a few weeks time. Games and activities for children are hosted every weekend and are always free of charge.

A corn maze will be added as soon as the crop is tall enough, along with hay rides and a pumpkin patch available for tour this fall. It’s All Good plans to stay open through the end of November. The zoo and farmstand is open every weekend until then, including Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm.

Admission price for the zoo is $2, while children six and under are free. Family tickets are available for $4 for two or more children or adults. Pony rides are $3 each.
