Judith Wilton, of Antigo, died Friday, September 13, 2019, at Care Partners under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 85 years old. She was born on April 21, 1934, in Antigo, a daughter of Edward and Marian (Kloida) Wurtinger.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1952.
Her husband's military service took the family to locations throughout the United States and Guam. While in Guam she was involved with the Chief Petty Officers Club and served as president for 18 months.
She was a certified nursing assistant and worked in other positions in the medical field. She served as village clerk for the village of Aniwa for 10 years.
Judith enjoyed acrylic painting, reading, crocheting.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Antigo and its quilting group.
Survivors include two daughters, Robin (Alan) Gardner, Aniwa, Julie (Matthew) Zack, Antigo; three sons, Steven (Karen) Wilton, Birnamwood, Eric Wilton and special friend Debra Wirth, Aniwa, Craig (Kathie) Wilton, Schofield; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; sister, Cleo Adkins, Antigo; four brothers, Edward (Darlene) Wurtinger Jr., Antigo, Gary Wurtinger, Antigo, Paul (Beverly) Wurtinger, Antigo, Ray (Gloria) Wurtinger, Antigo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, John Somer; a brother in law, Lawrence Adkins; a sister-in-law, Elaine Wurtinger.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church with Vicar Pam Werth officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
