The all-new season of Wisconsin Life on PBS Wisconsin takes viewers on a trip around the state to visit their neighbors and uncover their unique stories.
Lady Luck, a bed-and-breakfast situated in a WWII plane hung in a forest near Antigo, is featured in a new episode of Wisconsin Life, which premiered on Jan. 15, on PBS Wisconsin. The episode will also be available to stream online at that time at pbswisconsin.org/wilife and on the free PBS app on all streaming devices and smart TVs.
Host Angela Fitzgerald connects the audience with people whose passions, experiences and expertise celebrate the best of Wisconsin. Lady Luck is the dream of Joe Draeger, who developed the concept of hanging a WWII plane in the forest of Langlade County and turning it into a one-of-a-kind overnight Airbnb experience. Visitors entering the cabin step into war-time footing. The door and floor are original. According to Draeger, the cockpit is probably the nicest part of the plane where kids, young and old alike, can sit in the seat and pretend they are operating the aircraft.
