FOR ANTIGO TIMES
The Antigo Community Food Pantry receives such wonderful community support as it works to end food-insecurity in our county. Once a month the Antigo, White Lake, and Elcho food pantries receive a delivery of three to four pallets of commodities from the The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) at the Antigo Community Food Pantry. It is quite an undertaking for the volunteers of these pantries to unload this amount of food. Thankfully FS Insight is there to help with a forklift and driver. FS Insight moves the food from the truck to the loading dock where it is separated for use by the three pantries in our county. This month's delivery included: meat, cheese, rice, juice, canned fruit and vegetables, eggs, instant milk, and dried beans.
