Linda Blahnik, of Wausau, died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at her home. She was 57 years old. She was born on February 3, 1959 a daughter of the late Milas Blahnik and Irma (Tatro) Blahnik of Wittenberg.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School in 1977.
She had been a resident of Wausau for the past 25 years. She was well known for her generosity for collecting pull tabs for the Ronald McDonald house in Marshfield.
Survivors including her mother are a daughter, Shannon (Jonathan) Richter of Iron River, Michigan; a sister, Carol (Kevin) Zinda of Antigo; a brother, James (Barbara) Blahnik of Antigo; one granddaughter Hadassah; nieces and nephews Michael (Kyle) Zinda, Bryan Zinda and special friend Katie Farr, Danielle and Melanie Blahnik.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Charles Hoffmann officiating. Entombment will take place in Queen of Peace Mausoleum. Visitation will be at the church in Hoffmann Hall on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.
The Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
