Mya Burt competed in the 2018 11 & Under Wisconsin Single Age State Championship in Milwaukee, WI, at the St. Augustine Prep Pool December 15-16th.

Throughout the 2017-2018 swim season, Mya qualified in 7 individual events, however each swimmer could only choose a maximum of six individual events to compete. The events that Mya chose were 100 backstroke, 100 IM, 50 backstroke, 50 freestyle, 50 butterfly and 50 breaststroke. Mya beat the girls 11-12 Antigo Swim Club record in the 50 Butterfly with a time of 31.76. She had a wonderful weekend in the pool and achieved many personal best times. Medals were given out for the top 10 swimmers and ribbons to the top 20 swimmers.
