Northwoods Tractor Club Looks for a Home

The Northwoods Tractor Club is looking to create an agricultural museum to house and display antique farming equipment.

“We feel this is an important part of history that should be preserved and made available for generations.  Thus showcasing what our fore fathers used to work the land to provide for their families” said Mike McDougal, Club President.

The past four years the club has been holding “Old Time Plow Days” and other fundraising events. But at this time they would like to move their efforts to the next level and are asking for community support.

The club is exploring land acquisition options in the Neva Corners area of Langlade County. If you or someone you know has property available please let us know.  Furthermore the club is interested in obtaining structurally sound buildings that can easily be moved. The objective is to have a collection of old buildings brought together to form a museum. Each shed will have its own agricultural theme/history.

Meanwhile the club has accepted equipment donations. Currently their inventory consists of a few plows, some hay equipment, and a J.I.Case threshing machine.

The Northwoods Tractor Club, Inc. was formed in 2011 as a recognized charitable organization under IRS Code Section 501(c) (3). Donations are tax deductible. Monetary donation are greatly appreciated. Considerations for “naming rights” or other special recognition preferences will be assessed with substantial donors.
