The students at Partners were happy to learn they were receiving a donation of a classroom set of snowshoes from Yukon Charlie’s, as well as a classroom set of snow gaiters to keep the snow out of their shoes. The snow gaiters were a very generous and appreciated donation of the Healthy Kids Bright Kids grant through the Community Health Foundation and Langlade Hospital. Both donations have allowed the students to get outside during the winter months and to work towards earning their physical education credit. The students also benefit in their studies as exercise helps students focus on classroom work. The students at Partners thank those that were involved in supplying this equipment that will be enjoyed for years to come.
