FOR ANTIGO TIMES

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wisc. – Todd Burch, President of Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics, has resigned from Aspirus and has accepted a position in Petoskey, Michigan. He joined Aspirus in December 2015.

“Todd has had a positive impact on Aspirus’ operations in the Wisconsin Rapids area and we wish him the best in the next phase of his career,” said Jesse Tischer, President of Regional Markets for Aspirus.

To ensure continued success in the Wisconsin Rapids area, Aspirus has identified strong interim leadership. Andy Barth, President of Aspirus Langlade Hospital & Clinics, will oversee operations and assume the role of Interim President of Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics, while Aspirus searches for a permanent leader.

During Burch’s tenure, Aspirus Doctors Clinic effectively integrated with Aspirus Riverview Hospital and Aspirus expanded services into surrounding communities such as Adams, where a new primary care clinic opened in January. Aspirus Riverview Hospital also garnered numerous national quality recognitions. In 2017 and 2018, it was named among 100 Great Community Hospitals by Becker’s Hospital Review. For the past three years, the hospital also was identified as a top 100 Rural and Community Hospital by The Chartis Center for Rural Health.
