Rita J. Kasprak, 83, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at her home.
She was born on April 16, 1932 in the Town of Reid, the daughter of the late Barney and Martha (Gorski) Zillman.
On September 10, 1955, Rita was united in marriage to John Kasprak at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. He survives.
Rita was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley and its Rosary Society. She also sang in the Saturday night Polish Choir for many years. In her younger days, Rita enjoyed polka dancing and crocheting. She liked to play word puzzles, cook and bake, but she especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, John Kasprak, Hatley; two sons, Allan (Kelly Fernandes) Kasprak, Hatley and Perry (Becky) Kasprak, Hatley; four grandchildren, Jeremy (Darlene) Kasprak, Spokane, WA, Jessica (Craig) Ostrowski, Eland, Jordan (Ashley) Kasprak, Hatley and Devan Kasprak, Hatley; six great-grandchildren, Sierra Kasprak, Jayden Ostrowski, Kylie Ostrowski, Addison Ostrowski, Max Kasprak and Reese Kasprak; two step-grandchildren, Lindsay (Andy) Payette, Seattle, WA and Sara Harmon, Hatley and two step-great-grandchildren, Braydon and Tristan Payette. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Rita is preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Zillman and two sisters and one brother in infancy.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Friday, March 4, 2016 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. Fr. Greg Bohren will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5pm until a Rosary Service at 7pm and on Friday from 10am until the time of services all at the church.
