Rob’s Ride donates to German Shepherd Rescue

Posted

100 hand painted signs were recently donated to Dawn Freiburger with White Paws German Shepherd Rescue in Green Bay, WI on behalf of Rob's Ride. The mission of Rob’s Ride is to celebrate the life of Rob Korhonen, an Antigo motorcyclist, husband and father who was tragically killed by a drunk driver in 2017, and to embrace his memory by raising money for the Safe Ride Program.

White Paws German Shepherd Rescue, a licensed non-profit 501c3 organization founded by a small group of people dedicated to the German Shepherd Dog breed, since, 2004, has saved approximately 150-175 dogs a year from being put to sleep in shelters, most stray or abandoned by owners. They take in dogs found in dumping grounds, owner surrenders, shelters and many other bad circumstances from 22 states in the Continental U.S.  They rescue young, old, and medically needy dogs. All monies collected through fundraising efforts are put toward helping the dogs to find a better life.
