Rosalie Romona Van Donsel, 90

Rosalie (Mona) Romona (Kielcheski) Van Donsel, 90, after receiving her last rights on Christmas day, officiated by Father Scott Valentyne from St. John The Baptist Catholic Church passed away Wed. morning, January 2, 2019, at

Country Villa Assisted Living, Pulaski, Wisconsin.

Rosalie (Mona) daughter of Leon and Lillian (Dymczenski) Kielcheski, was born December 11, 1928, in Langlade County, WI. She married Leo Van Donsel on February 7, 1948, in Green Bay Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2008. She was a devoted Catholic who enjoyed attending mass, raising her 8 children and traveling west with her husband of 60 years.

She enjoyed reading the bible, many walks outdoors, crafts, tending her flower garden, quilt making and doing puzzles. Mona now called “GG” spent many happy times and memories with her 27 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

She is survived by 7 of her 8 children. Katheryn, deceased. Van Donsel, Rachel (Steve) Kars, Sherry (Grant) Van Lishout, Rebecca (Nathan) Register, Ron (Tracy) Berna, Dean (Kelly) Berna, Clyde (Angie) Berna, Glen (Meggan) Berna, Robert (Saucey) Kuczer, Adam (Becky) Kuczer, Sadie (Dan) Stegner, Alan (Theresa) Roberts, Sara (Jason) Jaquith, Neal (Tracy) Van Donsel, Jeff, deceased. Van Donsel, Leah Van Donsel.

She will be thought of often in memories and love by her children, along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Private Funeral services were held on January 5th with Malcore Funeral Home & Crematory, 701 N. Baird St. Green Bay Wisconsin, serving the family.

Rosalie (Mona’s) family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and residents at the Country Villa Assisted Living Facility, Pulaski Wisconsin for all their care and for making her feel so welcomed, also Unity, Leaders in Hospice and Palliative Care for all their heartfelt guidance.
