September Senior Center Events

For the Antigo Times

We had a good summer at the Senior Center. We did Music in the Park, a brat fry at Lakeside, a trip to Laona for the train ride and went to Waupaca last week for a boat ride. People came to the Center, checked it out, took part in some of the events and joined our group.

In September, our events will be:

Mondays – Mahjong from 1-3pm

Wednesdays – Bingo from 1-3pm, free will offering for prizes

Tuesdays & Thursdays – Coffee and conversation from 9-11am

Thursdays – Cards from 1-4pm

Fridays – Music from 2-4pm with Stone Soup Brothers Band. If you like to sing, come out and join us and sing along.

The Lunch Bunch will meet Tuesday, September 18^th at 11:30am at Farmer’s Home.

A color tour may happen at the end of the month, including a trip to Granite Peak to see the color, as well as the Wausau Bird & Art show at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. If anyone is interested in going, please call the Center at 715-627-6632. If we can get 14+ people, we will set this up.
