Avoid The Crowds; Get Your Annual Park Pass Today
FROM THE WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources reminds the public to beat the crowds at state properties this Memorial Day Weekend by purchasing their 2022 annual vehicle admission stickers online.
Wisconsin is home to 49 state parks, 15 state forests, 44 state biking trails, 84,00 miles of rivers and streams, 15,000 lakes and hundreds of miles of Lake Michigan and Mississippi River shoreline. There is something for everyone to find your adventure.
A Wisconsin State Park System vehicle admission sticker is required on all motor vehicles stopping in state parks, forests and recreation areas. Annual vehicle admission stickers offer admission to all state parks and forests for the calendar year. The 2022 vehicle admission stickers are valid through Dec. 31, 2022. Annual admission sticker rates range from $13 - $38.
Visitors must display an annual or daily admission sticker adhered to the vehicle as instructed on the sticker or show proof of purchase upon entrance. Once you purchase your annual pass online, you can use your email confirmation as proof of purchase and use it immediately.
Visitors may print the email receipt and place it on the driver’s side dashboard so that it can be read through the windshield. A vehicle sticker will be mailed directly to you following your online purchase.
As we move into the holiday weekend be mindful of the following:
The DNR urges visitors to do their part when visiting state parks. Most Wisconsin state parks, forests and other day-use areas do not have garbage or recycling bins. When you visit, you will need to take your garbage and recyclables home with you. We all play a vital role in taking care of our natural resources. Following the Leave No Trace principles helps protect the land for generations to come.
