Susanne Loomis, 70

Susanne Loomis, 70 of Hatley, died on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at her home under the care of her family and Aspirus Comfort Care & Hopsice Services.

Susanne was born on March 1, 1949 in Wausau and was the daughter of the late John and Ann (Pazio) Warpehoski Sr. On October 22, 1970, Susanne was united in marriage to William Loomis at St. Florian’s Catholic Church in Hatley. He survives.

Susanne worked for a dry cleaning business in Wausau for most of her adult life. Susanne loved to read, shop, cook and go for walks. She also liked to go to rummage sales and pet sit. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved her animals.

Susanne is survived by her husband, William Loomis; daughter Deb (Dave) Tucker of LaCrosse; two granddaughters Ellie and Sophia; four siblings Evelyn (Marvin) Fandrey of Ringle, Johnny (Lindalu) Warpehoski of Antigo, Marianne (Mike) Sprague and Rosie (Jerry) Rew, all of Birnamwood and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at St. Florian’s Catholic Church, Hatley. Reverend Gregory Bohren will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2pm until the time of service at the church.
