Wendy M. DeClark, of White Lake, died Monday, August 19, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 55 years old. She was born on May 30, 1964, in Antigo, a daughter of the late Woodrow, Sr. and Harriet (Rosio) Maddix. She married Ernest DeClark on September 9, 1985, in White Lake. He survives.
She was a graduate of White Lake High School in the class of 1982.
Wendy was a cook at the Evergreen Restaurant and worked in the garden center at Menards for twelve years. She retired in 2016 to care for her husband.
Mrs. DeClark enjoyed providing care for her grandchildren on a regular basis and will be remembered as an excellent cook.
Survivors including her husband are a daughter, Lacy (Adam) Zamara of Antigo; two sons, Darwin (Patty) DeClark of Polar, and Darriel (Kati) DeClark of Antigo; ten grandchildren; a sister, Pat (Sam) Zaverousky of Antigo; two brothers, Rob (Theresa) Maddix of Custer, South Dakota, and James Maddix of Tomah; and two sister-in-laws, Diane Maddix of Bryant, and Carol Maddix of Bryant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Menting and Barbara Maddix; three brothers, Phillip Maddix, Sr., Woodrow Maddix, Jr., and Gary Maddix.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23rd at 11:30 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Ark of the Lord Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
