William "Bill" Ramer, of Elton, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at his home. He was 72 years old. He was born on December 1, 1942 in Antigo, a son of the late Clyde and Ethel (Bebeau) Ramer. He married Elaine "Nollie" Allen on June 2, 1962 at Antigo. She preceded him in death on January 24, 2004. He married Debra Henke on January 1, 2011.
He was a 1961 graduate of White Lake High School.
Bill worked at JI Case in Racine in quality control for 35 years. Following his retirement in 1998 he moved to Elton. He was a clerk for the Town of Evergreen for 6 years.
He is a member of UAW Local 180.
Bill enjoyed playing cribbage, sheepshead and collecting sports memorabilia.
In addition to his wife survivors include a daughter, Cindy (Kurt) Schuster of Wausau; a son, Tim (Janice) Ramer of Wausau; a step-son, Jeremy Henke of Antigo; six grandchildren, Kia and Kelsea Schuster, Sydney, Audrey and Kate Ramer all of Wausau and Donna Ramer of Kenosha; three step-grandsons, Kenny, J.R. and Leland Henke; mother-in-law, Connie Fritsch of Antigo; five sisters, Patricia (Donald) Rose of Elton, Donna (Garth) Huettl of Elton, Debra Ramer of Delavan, Peggy Ramer of Janesville and Vickie Ramer of Kenosha; two brothers, James Ramer and Joseph Ramer both of Elton; a sister-in-law, Cecilia Ramer of Antigo.
In addition to his first wife he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Ramer, a sister, Barbara Constantineau, a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Ramer and father-in-law, Robert Fritsch.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Four Corners Assembly of God, White Lake with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Burial will take place in Elton Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 until 7 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
