Wisconsin Fast Forward grants open to employers statewide

Posted

The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is accepting applications for approximately $1 million in Wisconsin Fast Forward grants aimed at helping employers across the state address skilled worker shortages.
The grants, which range from $5,000 to $400,000 — or higher for consortium applicants — reimburse the cost of customized occupational training for unemployed, underemployed, and existing workers. The funding is open to employers of all sizes and industries.
“These training grants help employers to fill in-demand positions, offer workers the skills they need to succeed, and strengthen Wisconsin’s workforce for the future,” said DWD Secretary Amy Pechacek.
Through the program, workers receive training that qualifies them for full-time positions, higher-level roles, or increased wages.
Eligible applicants include public agencies, private organizations, tribal governing bodies, and consortiums with a lead public or private organization serving as the applicant.
Applications are due by 3 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2026. More information and application instructions are available at the Wisconsin Fast Forward Program website: wisconsinfastforward.com/wff_standard.htm.
