Henrietta Incha, 101

Henrietta “Honey” Incha, of the town of Ackley, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 101 years old. She was born on January 2, 1914 in the town of Antigo, a daughter of James and Mary (Jackl) Wachal. She married Michael Incha on June 1, 1940 in Antigo. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1993.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1932.

After high school she was employed as a driver for Mrs. Hoyt, having driven her around Antigo and throughout the mid west.

After marriage she and her husband operated a dairy and potato farm in the town of Ackley for many years. Honey worked seasonally at the Antigo Pea Canning factory. She was also a homemaker and in home caregiver for her mother and father-in-law.

She was a member of SS Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church and the Rosary Society. She volunteered in the church kitchen for many years. She was also a member of the Ackley homemakers club and was a 4-H leader.

She will be remembered as a great cook and baker. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and going to rummage sales.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann Marie (Eldon) Saugstad of West Bend, Alice (James) Grasewicz of Ruckersville, Virginia; two sons, David (Sue) Incha of Antigo, Mike Incha of Antigo; eight grandchildren and three step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Leonard “Buddy” Wachal; a sister, Catherine Giles.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Incha, a grandson, three sisters, Aileen Schaver, and Marie Madej and Sr. M. Mary Sienna (Mildred); a brother, James Wachal.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday March 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. A parish wake service will be held at 5:30 p.m. and the rosary society wake service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday both at the funeral home.
